When being questions about a cosmetic cash shop and how purchased cosmetics could conflict with player prestige, or rewards earned through their efforts and achievements, Raph Koster replied, "I am personally a big fan of WYSIWYG on avatars, and not a big fan of transmog. But I recognize that tastes have changed in the market on this, and it is something I expect us to discuss with the community.[1]
