Best practices and tips for writing articles on the Unofficial Stars Reach Wiki.

  • It is everyone's responsibility to ensure that the information contained herein is factually accurate and presented in a neutral and concise manner.
  • Please ensure that all substantial information is backed up with a citation from an official source.
  • Please don't duplicate information.
    • Use templates, where available.
    • Always check if information or images exist prior to adding new content.
  • Nothing is set in stone, not even the wiki structure or these help pages. If you dispute anything in the wiki, make a comment on the appropriate discussion page, and/or, edit the article in question to correct the information, and/or, make a post on the wiki support forum.

These policies and guidelines apply to all content pages of this wiki. All content must also comply with legal and copyright laws.

References

When referencing a statement or citation, please use the following structure as a template:

<ref>Short Description of Source | [https://www.source.com/ Link] | 31 January 2024</ref>

When using the same reference more than once in an article, give the reference a name. Using the example above, it would look like this: (replacing "text" with an appropriate name, retaining the quotes)

<ref name="text">Short Description of Source | [https://www.source.com/ Link] | 31 January 2024</ref>

Then you can refer back to this same reference further in the article by calling that name again with a much smaller snippet of code, like this: (with "text" being the name you assigned the reference earlier, retaining the quotes)
